Simplex filter

A simplex filter is a single-housing filter that allows fluid (water, pulp slurry, oil, chemicals) to pass through a filter element (mesh, screen, or cartridge) to remove solid contaminants.

  1.    It has only one filter chamber
  2.    The flow is stopped for cleaning or replacing the filter element
  3.    Simple in design, cost-effective, and easy to maintain.

duplex filter

A duplex filter has two parallel filter chambers (or housings) and a valve system that allows fluid to flow through one chamber at a time.

  1. When one chamber is clogged, flow is switched to the other chamber.
  2. The clogged chamber can be cleaned without stopping the process.
  3. Ideal for continuous processes in paper mills, chemical plants, and water treatment.

triplex filter

A triplex filter has three filter chambers arranged in parallel with a multi-port valve system, allowing fluid to flow through any one or two chambers at a time while the others are cleaned.

  1. Provides continuous filtration with even less risk of downtime than duplex filters.
  2. Ideal for critical processes where stopping the system is very costly.

filter element

Filtration is done using WEDGE Wire element of two types :

    2. Inside to Outside
  1. Outside from inside
